Access

Private cars are not allowed to enter Kamikochi.

To preserve natural environment in Kamikochi, private cars are restricted in Kamikochi.
They can not enter the park beyond Kama Tunnel.
All private cars have to park at either Hirayu parking area or Sawando parking area.
Shuttle bus and taxi are available at both parking area.
